'Salvage' victim found in Pangasinan

BAUTISTA, Pangasinan – The body of a woman suspected to be a “salvage” or summary execution victim was discovered by a resident in Barangay Cabuaan here on April 16.

Police said the victim had bullet wounds and blond hair, fair complexion, medium-built, 30 to 40 years of age, and 5’0” to 5’2” in height.

The victim sustained bullet wounds in the leg, abdomen, and head.

A police forensics team recovered three fired caliber .45 cartridge cases in the area.

Follow-up investigation and backtracking of surveillance cameras are underway.
