Hot, humid weather expected in most of the country — PAGASA
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) on Thursday, April 18 said hot and humid weather will continue to prevail in the country.

In PAGASA’s 4 a.m. public forecast, weather specialist Aldczar Aurelio said higher maximum air temperatures will also be expected.
Based on the PAGASA’s extended weather outlook from April 19 to 21, the actual air temperatures in some key areas are 24–35°C in Metro Manila, 25-38°C in Tuguegarao City, 25-33°C in Legazpi City, 17–27°C in Baguio City, 26–33°C in Metro Cebu, 26–33°C in Iloilo City, 26–33°C in Tacloban City, 25–34°C in Metro Davao, 24–35°C in Zamboanga City, and 25–33°C in Cagayan de Oro City.
Meanwhile, PAGASA said the ridge of a high pressure area (HPA), or an anti-cyclone system, still affects the eastern section of Luzon.
Over the next 24 hours, PAGASA said the entire country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies and isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.
It warned the public of flash floods or landslides that may occur during severe thunderstorms.
