From 4D movies to adventures, Legoland Malaysia Resort entices Pinoys to visit theme park

Filipino travelers, especially families wanting to have a unique experience, are enticed to visit Legoland Malaysia Resort

“When you think of Legoland, it’s a magical place, a place where creativity can grow and develop,” Malaysian Ambassador to the Philippines Abdul Malik Melvin Castelino described Legoland Malaysia Resort as he spoke at the media briefing for the theme park on April 17 at the Grand Hyatt Manila in Bonifacio Global City in Taguig.

He said this year, Malaysia and the Philippines will celebrate the 60th year of diplomatic relations between the countries. He added that Malaysia and the Philippines share similar cultures. 

“Legoland is waiting for you with open arms. There’s nothing like seeing with your own eyes, and experiencing what you will see on screen [during presentation],”Ambassador Castelino said. 

Joining him were Legoland Malaysia Resort's Divisional Director CS Lim and Director of Sales & Marketing Thila Munusamy, who also urged Filipinos to visit the theme park.

Legoland Malaysia Resort is located in Johor, Malaysia, near the Malaysia-Singapore border. The theme park is accessible from Kuala Lumpur and other parts of Malaysia, and from Singapore. 

It is three hours from Kuala Lumpur, 20 minutes from Senai International Airport in Johor Bahru in Malaysia, 30 minutes from Johor Bahru, 10 minutes from Tanjung Pelepas Port and 45 minutes from Singapore’s central business district, according to a presentation by Munusamy.

Unique experience

Legoland Malaysia Resort is composed of the Legoland Theme Park, Water Park, hotel and Sea Life in one Lego-themed location. 

The theme park is divided into eight areas containing thrilling rides, exciting Lego workshops, Miniland where Asia's interesting landscapes, countries and landmarks are recreated in miniature made with more than 30 million Lego bricks.
