42 wanted persons fall in Cordillera

CAMP DANGWA, Benguet – Police arrested 42 wanted individuals in manhunt operations conducted in the Cordillera region from April 7 to 17.

The Police Regional Office-Cordillera recorded zero crime incidents in 58 municipalities in the region.

The Regional Investigation and Detective Management Division said the Baguio City Police Office caught 13 wanted persons, followed by the Benguet Police Provincial Office with 10, the Abra PPO and Apayao PPO four each, the Ifugao PPO with six, Kalinga PPO, three, and the Mountain Province PPO two.

Fourteen were most wanted persons, three on the city level, four on the provincial level, four on the regional level, and one on the municipal level.

Twenty-three municipalities in Abra were crime-free, nine in Ifugao, 10 in Mountain Province, eight in Benguet, and four each in Apayao and Kalinga.

The Kennon Road Police Station and Naguilian Police Station recorded zero crime incidents among the 10 police stations in Baguio.
