3 drug suspects arrested in Parañaque City

Two freelance make-up artists and their cohort were arrested in a buy-bust operation conducted by members of the Parañaque City police Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) early morning of Thursday, April 18.

The Southern Police District (SPD) identified the suspects as alias Anthony, 48; alias Benedict, 53, both freelance make-up artists; and alias Nher, 28.

Based on the report of city police chief Col. Reycon Garduque, the suspects were arrested at around 1:40 a.m. in Barangay Tambo, Parañaque City.

Garduque said the SDEU operatives were able to confiscate from the suspects 50 grams of shabu worth P340,000.

He said the operatives also confiscated from them the P500 buy-bust money and a black coin purse.

The city police chief said the suspects were detained at the police custodial facility after their arrest and were charged for illegal possession of drugs.    

Garduque said the confiscated shabu was brought at the SPD  Forensic Unit for chemical analysis.
