Second most wanted person in Eastern Visayas collared in Leyte town

TACLOBAN CITY - Eastern Visayas region's second most wanted has been arrested on Tuesday, April 16, in San Miguel, Leyte.

The suspect, an 18-year-old with an alias of Maria, was wanted for qualified trafficking and violations of the Republic Act 7610 (Anti-Child Abuse Law).
 

She was arrested through warrants of arrest issued by the Regional Trial Court, Branch 13, in Carigara, Leyte.

No bail was recommended for qualified trafficking, while bail was set at P80 each for two counts of violation of RA 7610. 

The accused was brought to CIDG Northern Leyte Provincial Field Unit, at Camp Downes, Ormoc City for documentation and proper disposition.
