The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) released on Wednesday, April 17 the results of the April 2024 Electronics Engineers Licensure Examination (ECELE) and Electronics Technicians Licensure Examination (ECTLE).

PRC said 1,330 out of 3,130 examinees passed the ECELE, while 1,819 out of 2,538 examinees passed the ECTLE.

Both exams were facilitated by the Board of Electronics Engineering in Metro Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Rosales and Tuguegarao on April 11 and 12 for ECELE and April 13 for ECTLE.
Niele Shem Geronimo Bañas from the Technological University of the Philippines-Visayas (TUP-Visayas) achieved the highest score of 91.80 percent in the ECELE exam.

Meanwhile, Dexter Pelaez Astorga from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines-Sto. Tomas secured the top position in the ECTLE exam with a score of 95 percent.

Top performing schools
Based on the Commission Resolution No. 2017-1058 (C) series of 2017, the top performing schools in the April 2024 ECELE and ECTLE are the University of the Philippines-Diliman (UPD) and TUP-Visayas, respectively.
UPD achieved a passing percentage of 90.91 percent, with 50 out of 55 examinees from the university passing the ECELE.

Meanwhile, TUP-Visayas achieved a passing percentage of 93.06 percent, with 67 out of 72 takers who graduated from the educational institution passing the ECTLE.

Oathtaking
Successful examinees interested in participating in the face-to-face mass oath-taking must register no later than noon on the day preceding the scheduled oath-taking date. Register at http://online.prc.gov.ph to confirm attendance.
For those unable to attend the mass oath-taking, the option to join the virtual oath-taking or request a special oath-taking is available. The schedule will be posted on the official website once confirmed.
To schedule an online appointment at http://online.prc.gov.ph, choose "e-OATH" as the transaction.
Online registration will close five calendar days before the online oath-taking day.
Furthermore, inductees must print the "Oath of Professional" form, downloadable from the PRC official website under PRC Online Services.
After the oath-taking, inductees should proceed with the Initial Registration by securing an online appointment at http://online.prc.gov.ph.
