Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano was named by the RP Mission and Development Foundation Inc. (RPMD) on April 8 as an outstanding public servant for 2023 for her exceptional performance.
The award was given to Rubiano on Monday, April 15, during the regular flag-raising ceremony held at the Pasay City Hall grounds.
Rubiano earned the “Outstanding Public Servant” award for initiating various infrastructure projects, excellent public service, and her active participation in civic activities.
The RPMD also noted the brand of public service that Rubiano gave to her constituent through her favorite watchword “Nakikita niyo, nakakausap niyo, kasama niyo, at tapat kayong pinaglilingkuran.” (Someone you can see, you can talk to, who can be with you, and who will serve you faithfully.)
“Mayor Emi's leadership has not only facilitated measurable improvements in Pasay City but also established her as a paradigm of excellence in public administration, recognized both regionally and nationally. Characterized by inclusivity, innovative strategies, and deep-rooted dedication to the public interest, her leadership has been instrumental in achieving these commendable outcomes,” according to RPMD.
The RPMD said Rubiano’s success is part of her good leadership for the betterment of the city and her constituents.
