Nueva Ecija's most wanted, 18 others fall in Bulacan


A series of intensified operations by the authorities in Bulacan resulted in the arrest of the most wanted in Nueva Ecija, including several drug dealers, and lawbreakers, and in the confiscation of illegal drugs worth P231,860 on Tuesday and Wednesday, April 16 and 17.

In reports submitted to Col Relly B. Arnedo, Bulacan police director, tracker teams from the Plaridel police executed a warrant of arrest against Mark Anthony Uy, listed as the Top 8 City Level – MWP of San Jose City, Nueva Ecija, for the crime of Statutory Rape, issued by the Presiding Judge of Regional Trial Court Branch 38, San Jose City, Nueva Ecija. Uy did not resist his arrest.

Similarly, six more individuals wanted for various crimes and offenses were arrested by intelligence operatives of the DRT, Pandi, San Rafael, and the City of San Nose Del Monte. They are currently under the custody of the arresting units or stations.
 

In a drug-sting operation conducted by operatives of the Plaridel police in Santan St., Brgy. San Jose, suspected shabu worth about P129,220 (Standard Drug Price, SDP) was confiscated from two drug suspects identified as alias Jay and Bebe. 

In another drug sting, members of the Baliwag City police confiscated five sachets of suspected shabu worth P30,600 and the marked money from the drug suspects identified only as Alias "Sergie" and Alias "Mandy" in Brgy. Poblacion.

Eight drug dealers were apprehended in a series of drug buy--bust operations conducted by the Hagonoy, Bocaue, Balagtas, Malolos City, and San Rafael police. They yielded 33 sachets of suspected shabu with a total estimated value of P70,040 and the marked money.

The arrested suspects and the confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit (PFU) for examination. Criminal complaints for violations of R.A. 9165 will be filed against the arrested suspects.
