Las Piñas, Parañaque LGUs hold 'Kadiwa ng Pangulo,' financial assistance payout

The cities of Las Piñas and Parañaque conducted the ‘Kadiwa ng Pangulo’ financial assistance payout to residents under the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS).
Las Piñas Vice- Mayor April Aguilar attended the “Kadiwa ng Pangulo” and personally supervised the smooth payout to 5,000 residents under the vulnerable sector held at the Verdant covered court in Pamplona Tres from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Monday, April 15 and16.
Aguilar said the “Kadiwa ng Pangulo” is a marketing initiative program of the Department of Agriculture (DA) that aims to provide consumers affordable farm products.
Parañaque City Mayor Eric Olivarez said the “Kadiwa ng Pangulo” financial assistance payout, was held at the Parañaque City Sports Complex in coordination with the Department of Social Welfare and Development-National Capital Region (DSWD-NCR).
Olivarez said 4,552 residents, 2,089 from District 1 and 2,463 from District II, each received P2,000.
The mayor said the “Kadiwa ng Pangulo” sells cheaper products like vegetables and fruits from the Duran and Cada farms and Progressive Farmers of Zambales; dairy products from Rosario Livestock Agriculture Farming Cooperative, while fish products from ISDA on the GO ni Ani at Kita were also featured.
