A victory for Choco Mucho in their highly-anticipated 6 p.m. showdown not only would improve its impressive 8-1 win-loss record but would cement its grip on the top spot in the post-elimination phase.

The Flying Titans also needed a three- or four-set victory over the Cool Smashers in order to secure the first semis berth.

Choco Mucho is hungry for redemption after a painful championship defeat to Creamline last conference, and the Flying Titans are determined to turn things around this time to bolster their title campaign.

Their offensive prowess and rock-solid defense have been evident in their last four matches where they never dropped a single set, but that would be put to test against a multitled, experienced team like Creamline.

Toting a 7-2 card behind Choco Mucho, Creamline seeks to break free from the four-way tie with PLDT, Petro Gazz and Chery Tiggo and hopes to keep the momentum going to boost its own semis bid following a convincing win over Nxled over the weekend.

It would be a battle of talent, cohesion and consistency as both teams boast of formidable lineups. Choco Mucho is expected to flaunt Sisi Rondina, Cherry Nunag, Maddie Madayag and Royse Tubino to challenge Creamline’s frontline in Tots Carlos, Jema Galanza, Pang Panaga and Michele Gumabao.

Meanwhile, eliminated teams Farm Fresh and Strong Group battle for pride at 4 p.m. with the Foxing aiming for their third win in 10 games and the Athletics seeking to end their nine-game losing spell.
