CHED vows to continue improving as it achieves 'high' performance, trust ratings in Q1 2024
Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Chairman Prospero de Vera III vowed on Wednesday, April 17, to continue improving the commission's programs and services despite being one of the top government agencies with the highest performance rating in the latest survey conducted by OCTA Research.

Based on the March 2024 First Quarter Tugon ng Masa (TNM) Survey, the performance rating of CHED was highest in Mindanao, with 84 percent of respondents satisfied with its initiatives and services.
The highest trust rating for the Commission, on the other hand, was in Visayas, with 79 percent of respondents expressing satisfaction.
“The public can hope that we will keep this trust and continue to improve our programs and services,” the chairman said in a statement.
“As we approach the 30th anniversary of CHED, this recognition is an additional motivation for us to intensify our efforts to serve the youth and all high education institutions across the country,” he added.
De Vera also thanked the public for their continued trust in the Commission as it carries out its mandate of “providing quality higher education” and fostering an equitable and sustainable educational landscape.
The agency's performance rating remains consistent, placing it among the top government agencies in performance and trust ratings for four consecutive quarters.
