The “Suga│Agust D Tour ‘D-Day’ The Movie” starring BTS’ Suga emerged as the highest grossing US and worldwide concert film of 2024 to date.
This was announced by distributor Trafalgar Releasing and BTS’ parent company HYBE, adding that the film is the highest grossing cinema event ever from a K-pop solo artist.
Including the screenings from April 10 to 14, Suga’s concert film grossed $10.16 million worldwide from limited showtimes, Trafalgar added. The worldwide gross also includes Korean admissions.

The concert film was screened from April 10 to 13 in more than 3,500 cinemas across more than 100 territories, with additional showings added with demand.
In North America, “Suga│Agust D Tour ‘D-Day’ The Movie” reached No. 2 in the April 10 box office with a gross of more than $961,000 and a per-screen average of $1,264 from 784 movie theaters.
It reached No. 8 in the April 13 box office with a gross of more than $990,000 and a per-screen average of $1,259 from 787 movie theaters. The cumulative total gross for North America is $2.3 million. The concert film also entered the overall North American and Worldwide top 10 for the weekend.
In Mexico, the concert film grossed $2.58 million; $612,000 in Brazil, and $402,000 in Germany.
“Suga│Agust D Tour ‘D-Day’ The Movie” was also shown in IMAX, grossing $2.04 million, or about 20 percent of the overall worldwide gross.

Trafalgar said due to demand in the US, the release expanded by 100 screens a week into pre-sales as well as added additional screening dates through April 21. Additional screens were also added in Mexico, and Brazil, among other Latin American markets.
The concert film features live performances from Suga│Agust D Tour ‘D-Day’ The Final, the three additional encore shows in Seoul that marked the grand finale of his world tour in August 2023.
The concert film release featured branded cinema concession items, including popcorn tins and cups, available in select theaters worldwide. Over 100,000 units were ordered globally.
