Man yields P741K shabu in Pasay City buy-bust

A drug suspect yielded P741,880 worth of shabu during a buy-bust operation conducted by members of the Pasay City Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) on Wednesday, April 17.

The Southern Police District (SPD) identified the suspect as Boss, 37, a resident of San Augustine St., Pembo, Taguig.

Based on the report of city police chief Col. Mario Mayames, alias Boss, tagged as a high-value individual, was nabbed at around 12:30 p.m. at the corner of Buendia Avene and Roxas Boulevard in Barangay 76, Pasay City.

Mayames said SDEU operatives were able to confiscate from the suspect 109.1 grams of shabu, a cellular phone, 69 pieces of P1,000 boodle money, and a motorcycle.

The suspect was charged with possession of illegal drugs and is now detained at the SDEU custodial facility.

Mayames said the confiscated shabu was turned over to SPD Forensic Unit for chemical analysis.
