Las Piñas LGU provides custom-built emergency vehicle for PWDs

The city government of Las Piñas turned over an emergency vehicle to the federation of persons with disabilities (PWDs) on Monday, April 15.

Vice-Mayor April Aguilar led the turnover of the country’s first ever accessible transportation mobile service van (A-TRAMS) for PWDs during the regular Monday flag-raising ceremony at the Las Piñas City Hall grounds 

The A-TRAMS designed for emergency transportation of PWDs was given to the Las Piñas Persons with Disability Federation Inc. (LPPWDI)

During the ceremony, the vice-mayor emphasized the city government’s commitment to inclusivity and mobility of all PWDs in the city.

The new vehicle will help PWDs access services more easily in times of emergencies. 

The event, which was attended by city officials and local leaders, underscores the administration’s efforts to enhance the quality of life of all residents, particularly those facing mobility challenges.
