The Taguig City government announced that it will implement new work hours as agreed upon by Metro Manila mayors.
Metro Manila mayors signed the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) Resolution 24-08 adjusting the working hours in local government units in the National Capital Region to 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Taguig City government will implement the new work hours starting May 2 and has issued a memorandum announcing the adjustment of working hours for its offices.
NCR mayors signed the resolution to alleviate heavy traffic during peak hours.
“Guidelines and further instructions regarding the adoption of the new work schedule will be issued before the implementation date,” the Taguig City government said in a notice.
