Senator Ramon "Bong" Revilla, Jr. has asked the public for prayers as he disclosed that he was hospitalized due to a partial tear of his Achilles tendon.

In a Facebook live video on Tuesday night, April 16, Revilla shared that he may need to undergo an operation to address his foot injury.

Revilla bared that he was injured during the first shooting day of his upcoming film, Alyas Pogi 4.

"Bale yung 50 percent ng aking (About 50 percent of my) Achilles heel ay na-tear, dahil sa pagtakbo dahil sa sobrang bilis ko raw tumakbo (has a tear because of running, because they told me I was running really fast)," said the actor-politician.

"Please pray for me," he said.

“Yun ang sinasabing na hindi na tayo bumabata eh, tumatanda na, but I'm okay (That's what they say that we're not getting any younger, we're getting old, but I'm okay)," he joked.

He said the healing time for his injury may take three to five months.
