PRO 13 celebrates 33rd PNP Founding Anniversary, recognizes outstanding officers, stakeholders
BUTUAN CITY - Police Regional Office 13 (PRO13) marked the 33rd Foundation Anniversary of the Philippine National Police (PNP) by recognizing the exemplary performance of its police officers and the contribution of stakeholders in a ceremony held at police regional headquarters in Camp Col. Rafael C. Rodriguez in Butuan City on Monday, April 15.
Presidential Adviser on Military and Police Affairs Roman A. Felix was guest of honor and speaker during the event, which was also graced by Caraga region governors, city and municipal mayors and legislators.
The significant event also served as a platform to honor exemplary service and acknowledge key contributors to the region's security and development.
PRO 13 extended recognition to various stakeholders whose invaluable support has significantly contributed to the achievements of the police force in the region.
Among those honored were the local chief executives of different provinces, cities, and municipalities, as well as members of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), Bureau of Fire Protection, and Bureau of Jail Management and Penology.
Recognition was also extended to the regional directors of the National Police Commission 13, Department of the Interior and Local Government 13, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency 13, members of the judiciary, officers and members of the Regional Advisory Group for Police Transformation and Development, and partners like the President of RFB Construction, who have collaborated with the PNP in upholding peace and order.
PRO13 Director Police Brig. Gen. Kirby John B. Kraft, together with the esteemed guest, led the awarding ceremony recognizing the efforts of deserving police personnel.
Among the recipients were Police Colonel Jovito C. Canlapan and Pat. Mark Ryan B. Canque of Agusan del Sur Police Provincial Office (PPO), as well as Police Colonel Ruben Delos Santos and PMSg Mary Ann N. Ariston of Dinagat Islands PPO, who were honored with the ‘Medalya ng Ugnayang Pampulisya’.
Police Colonel Harry B. Domingo and PMSg Cyril Von Ejercito of Surigao del Sur PPO; Police Colonel Marco B. Archinue and PMSg Ronald P. Vargas of Butuan City Police Office; Police Lt. Col. Dave Anthony R. Capurcos and PSSg Junmar H. Suprito of Agusan del Norte PPO; P/Capt. Rizar Brian Eublera and PEMS Juanito T. Briones III of Surigao del Norte PPO; and PCapt. Mohammad Faiz M. Cosain and PCpl Hermie M Pague of the Regional Mobile Force Battalion 13 were recipients of ‘Medalya ng Kagalingan
.
Meanwhile, Police Major Magdalino G. Pimental, Jr. and PMSg Leonardo M. Tabilla of the Regional Drug Enforcement Unit 13 were given the ‘Medalya ng Kadakilaan’, while NUP Gil L. Licayan received the ‘Medalya ng Papuri’.
In his address, Felix urged PNP personnel to uphold the core values of service, honor, and justice, and to remain committed to ensuring public safety and internal security for a progressive Bagong Pilipinas.
