P680K shabu seized in Gen Trias buy-bust

CAVITE – Authorities arrested a drug suspect and confiscated P680,000 worth of suspected shabu in a buy-bust operation in General Trias City on Tuesday, April 16.

Cavite Police Provincial Office (PPO) identified the suspect as alias Tatay.

The suspect was apprehended after he was caught selling illegal drugs to a police poseur buyer.

Seized during the sting operation were more or less 100 grams of suspected shabu.

Alias Tatay is now under the custody of the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit and is set to be turned over to General Trias Component City Police Station. He is facing a charge for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

The confiscated pieces of evidence, meanwhile, will be brought to the Cavite Provincial Forensic Unit in Imus City for examination.
