Over P1-M illegal drugs seized in Bulacan police ops


Police confiscated over P1 million worth of illegal drugs in a series of buy-bust operations in the province of Bulacan from April 14 to 16. 

According to the office of Bulacan police director Col. Relly B. Arnedo, three drug personalities were arrested after they yielded some P602,400 worth of high-grade marijuana and cannabis oil in Barangay Partida, San Miguel, Bulacan on Monday night.

Confiscated from the suspects were two sealed sachets containing high-grade marijuana; five disposable vapes oil, one black box with disposable vape, three blue boxes with disposable vape, all containing suspected cannabis oil;  two black belt bags, and marked money.

In a separate entrapment operation, four drug peddlers were arrested by the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of Bocaue and Guiguinto Police on Tuesday, April 16.

Seized during the operations were nine plastic sachets of suspected shabu valued at P31,700; assorted drug paraphernalia, and the buy-bust money.

Meanwhile, on Sunday, April 14, SDEU members of San Jose Del Monte City Police launched a drug sting, resulting in the arrest of six drug personalities on Cadiz Road in Brgy. Yakal, Francisco Homes, City of San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan. 

Recovered from the suspects were 13 sachets of suspected shabu weighing 60 grams with a standard price of P408,000.

Anti-drugs operations conducted by the SDEU of the San Ildefonso, Pandi, Hagonoy, Meycauayan, and San Jose Del Monte City Police Stations led to the arrest of 19 drug peddlers.

Operatives seized from the suspects 27 plastic sachets of suspected shabu worth around P138,276, assorted drug paraphernalia, and buy-bust money. 

The arrested suspects and the confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit for examination. Criminal complaints for violation of Republic Act 9165(Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act 2002)  will be filed against them, police said.
