The Parañaque City government conducted an orientation for 146 beneficiaries of Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Disadvantged Displaced Workers (TUPAD) on Monday, April 15, at Barangay Sto. Nino gymnasium.
TUPAD program is a joint project of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), the office of Senator Grace Poe and District I Councilor Pablo “Paolo” Olivarez that aims to give the beneficiaries a chance to earn extra income.
Mayor Eric Olivarez said the beneficiaries will be deployed to different schools in the city to clean the surroundings for 10 days.
The mayor thanked DOLE MunTaParLas Field Office Director Leonides P. Castillon Jr. and Sen. Poe’s representative for attending the orientation for the TUPAD beneficiaries.
