Man watching videos on cellphone shot dead

SINILOAN, Laguna – A man watching videos on his cellphone was shot dead by two unidentified gunmen in Sitio Alas-as, Barangay Buha, this municipality, on Sunday afternoon, April 14.

Police identified the victim as Edsel Buenora.

Buenora was watching videos on his cellphone in front of his house when the suspects appeared and shot him four times with an unidentified firearm.

He died on the spot.

A neighbor, Mary Rose Patrocino, was wounded by a stray bullet in the hand.

Patrocino was taken to a hospital in Pakil, Laguna.

Lawmen are conducting follow-up investigation and backtracking surveillance cameras to identify the suspects.
