Flash flood, landslide warnings issued in parts of Mindanao due to LPA trough outside of PAR
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) on Monday, April 15 said flash floods or landslides are possible in parts of Mindanao due to the trough or extension of a low pressure area (LPA) outside the country’s area of responsibility.

PAGASA said Davao Oriental, Davao de Oro, Davao Occidental, and Sarangani will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, low chance of rains will be expected over the eastern sections of Northern and Central Luzon due to the ridge of a high pressure area—an anti-cyclone weather system.
PAGASA also said Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms.
It warned the public of flash floods or landslides that may occur during severe thunderstorms.
