BACOLOD CITY – A 47-year-old man and his 25-year-old son were arrested and suspected shabu was seized in a search warrant operation in Barangay Gahit, E.B. Magalona, Negros Occidental on Saturday, April 13.

Confiscated from them were 90 grams of shabu worth P612,000, a .45 caliber pistol, a .38 caliber revolver, bullets, and drug paraphernalia.
The suspects were a high-value individual and a street-level individual, police said.
The search warrant for violations of the dangerous drugs law was issued by Presiding Judge Leonardo Facultad Jr. of the Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 69 in Silay City, Negros Occidental on April 13.
Police Major Kenneth Jay Gratones, town police chief, said they conduct many different activities to deal with the drug problem. “We conduct sophisticated investigations to suppress drug dealing and arrest drug users and dealers for illegal possession,” he added.
