Drug den dismantled in Bulacan, four suspects collared

Agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Bulacan and Region 3, with the City of San Jose Del Monte (CSJDM) police, dismantled a makeshift drug den on Saturday, April 13.

The joint police operation took place in Barangay Muzon, CSJDM wherein five sachets containing more or less 15 grams of suspected shabu worth P102,000 were seized from the four suspects who were arrested.

PDEA Region III Director Ronald Allan De Guzman Ricardo identified the arrested suspects as Alex Gorgonia Maravillo, 47; Edwin Polido Espiritu, 25; Lyka Dabis Romero, 43, and Russel Constantino Dizon, 29.

The arrested suspects yielded assorted drug paraphernalia and the buy-bust money.

The confiscated items were turned over to the PDEA Regional Office III laboratory for forensic examination.

Charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against the suspects.
