PAGASA records 'dangerous' heat indices in 6 areas on April 13
The Philippine Atmosheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said six areas in the country had felt “dangerous” heat indices on Saturday, April 13.

PAGASA said a heat index of 43°C was recorded in Aparri, Cagayan; Aborlan, Palawan; and Puerto Princesa City, Palawan.
Meanwhile, a heat index of 42°C was experienced in Dagupan City, Pangasinan; Sangley Point, Cavite; and Zamboanga City, Zamboanga del Sur.
Based on PAGASA’s two-day heat index forecast, eight areas may have “dangerous” heat indices on Sunday, April 14.
It said Puerto Princesa City and Aborlan Palawan may expect a heat index of 43°C, while a heat index of 42°C may be felt in Dagupan City, Pangasinan; Aparri, Cagayan; Tuguegarao City, Cagayan; Dumangas, Iloilo; Zamboanga City, Zamboanga del Sur; and Cotabato City, Maguindanao.
PAGASA said continuous exposure to heat indices ranging from 42-51°C may lead to heat stroke.
