Marina Summers to perform at Miss Universe Philippines 2024 coronation night

Things got even hotter as the Miss Universes Philippines 2024, presents Filipino drag queen Marina Summers to perform at the show's final competition in May.

The pageant's official social media announced the news about Marina's special performance.

"Universe, it’s SUMMERtime,” Miss Universe Philippines wrote in their caption.

“The Icon Diva Superstar and International Drag Race Superstar, Marina Summers, will heat up, burn up, and bring the house down at The Coronation of Miss Universe Philippines 2024 on May 22,” the post continued.

Marina recently ended her stint as one of the final four contestants at "RuPaul’s Drag Race UK vs the World." Although the Filipino drag queen did not win, it was a proud moment for her to represent the Philippines.

As of April 14, Marina was the only guest announced by the organization.

The Miss Universe Philippines 2024 pageant will crown the successor of Michelle Marquez Dee from 53 candidates. This will be the fifth edition of the prestigious national pageant.

The eventual winner of this year’s contest will represent the Philippines in the 73rd Miss Universe pageant to be held in Mexico later this year.

The reigning Miss Universe is Sheynnis Palacios, the first Nicaraguan woman to earn the crown.
