Vice Mayor Yul's 'Operation Tuli' project is back

Manila Vice Mayor John Marvin "Yul Servo" Nieto announced the return of his "Operation Tuli" project on Saturday, April 20.
The event will be held at Sen. Benigno S. Aquino Jr Elementary School, Baseco Compound, Port Area in Manila.
The project was formerly called “Binyagan sa Tag-Araw: Operation Tuli." It had circumcised almost 2,000 young Manileños in 2023 from the city’s various districts.
The procedures were done under the supervision of licensed medical practitioners.
Those who availed of the program were also given t-shirts and certificates of participation.
It is one of the annual projects of the Office of Manila Vice Mayor Yul Servo Nieto under a collaborative effort of different cause-oriented groups, in line with health and wellness programs of Nieto.
In an onsite interview with one of the guardians of the program beneficiaries, a grandmother, said they are very thankful to be part of the free circumcision activity.
“Ang laking tipid nito sa amin kasi tatlong apo ko po ang nakasali, nakalibre kami sa bayad sa doktor tapos may libreng gamot pa habang nagpapagaling sila (It saved us a lot of money because three of my grandchildren benefited, we were exempted from the doctor's fee, and free medicines were provided while they were recovering)”, she added.
