Parañaque to launch beautification, clean-up drive in communities

The local government of Parañaque City will launch a clean-up drive dubbed “Kalinisan: Kalinga at Inisyatiba Para sa Malinis na Bayan sa Bagong Pilipinas sa Lungsod ng Parañaque” in the city’s two communities on Saturday, April 13.
Parañaque City Mayor Eric Olivarez said Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG)-Parañaque Director Alona Raymundo met with the program participants on Thursday, April 11, in preparation for the cleanliness and beautification activities that will be conducted in Barangays Sto. Nino and Moonwalk.
He said teams from the City Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO), Sangguniang Kabataan (SK), Public Information Office, Traffic and Parking Management Office, Youth and Sports Development Office, and Paranaque City Police will lead the clean-up drive, clearing operations and urban gardening in the two barangays.
