CAVITE – Authorities collared four minors for allegedly stealing a motorcycle in Imus City on Thursday, April 11.

The Imus City Component Police Station (CCPS) stated that the children in conflict with the law (CICLs) were 16 to 17 years old.

Initial investigation said the owner of the motorcycle found his vehicle missing early morning on April 11.

Barangay officials, meanwhile, received a report from a concerned citizen about suspicious-looking individuals roaming the street, prompting them to conduct patrol operations.

When barangay public safety officers (BPSOs) flagged down the motorcycle, the CICLs riding it lost control and fell on the road. The local watchmen verified the motorcycle's documents and immediately contacted the owner to inquire whether his motorcycle had been stolen.

The recovered motorcycle was returned to the owner and the CICLs were brought to Imus CCPS for documentation.
