The city-run Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Muntinlupa (PLMun) suspended face-to-face classes on April 11 due to the threat of extreme heat.
In an announcement, PLMun said classes on April 11 will be conducted through “online synchronous modality.”

“This is due to the forecasted 41°C heat index by the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA),” it said.
It added, “The Center for Flexible Learning Management shall monitor our online engagement. There is no interruption of services on-site. All offices are operational.”
According to the heat index chart by PAGASA, 41 degree Celsius is classified as “extreme caution” where “heat cramps and heat exhaustion are possible. Continuing activity could lead to heat stroke.”
