Meralco Energy, Inc. (MSERV), which is the nationwide energy solutions arm of Manila Electric Company (Meralco), has reinforced the electricity services provision for the healthcare facilities of Allied Care Experts (ACE) Group of Hospitals.

The enhancement on the power supply and service network of the hospital group, according to MSERV, will ensure sufficient as well as reliable energy source for their day-to-day operations.

For very critical institutions like hospitals, unreliable electricity services are considerably downright catastrophic because that is akin to abandoning moral obligation of efficiently saving human lives.

Ronald Torres, president and CEO of MSERV, highlighted that the company’s partnership with the ACE Group of Hospitals “goes beyond delivering energy solutions as we aim to promote innovation and sustainability to support our partners in the healthcare sector.”

In meeting the high quality of service that the hospital group demands, MSERV noted that the undertaking is also “well aligned with Meralco’s commitment to deliver stable and reliable electricity service to its customers, which include institutions and offices that provide critical services to Filipinos.”

The facility upgrades that the Meralco solutions firm had done for ACE Group of Hospitals warranted the turnover of load-side facilities – which include two (2) first private poles and six (6) 250 kilovolt ampere (kVA) transformers for its San Jose Del Monte Muzon Medical Center in Bulacan; then for ACE Medical Center Sariaya in Quezon.

The company indicated “the new facilities of the healthcare institutions match its power requirements and have adopted proper safety standards.”

As emphasized by Dr. Diosdado Bartolo, president of the San Jose del Monte Muzon Medical Center, having improved and reliable supply of electricity to underpin their operations is certainly a guaranteed way of showing genuine care to the patients they have been treating and catering to.

To date, the ACE Group of Hospitals already counts at least 30 medical facilities under its sleeve – and so far, two of its nine hospitals that are sited within the franchise area of Meralco have already been energized by the utility firm.
