Manila LGU to hold mega job fair in Quiapo

The Manila local government will hold another job fair on Friday, April 12, to provide employment opportunities to residents.

Manila Mayor Honey Lacuna-Pangan announced that the “Mega Job Fair” will be held at the ground floor of the QQ Mall located along Quezon Boulevard in Quiapo, Manila from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

She said the activity is in coordination with the QQ Mall and the Department of Labor and Employment - National Capital Region (DOLE-NCR) Manila Field Office.

Organized by the city's Public Employment Service Office (PESO), at least 1,000 job vacancies will be available for jobseekers.

All unemployed residents in Manila were encouraged to participate in the job fair.

Lacuna-Pangan advised the applicants to wear casual attire and bring at least ten copies of their resume and their own ballpen.

To avoid health emergencies while lining up at the employers' booth, jobseekers were also asked not to go to the job fair on an empty stomach and to bring water.
