Man hurt in QC road collision

A man was hurt in a road collision along Epifanio De Los Santos Avenue (EDSA) northbound U-turn slot in Barangay Apolonio Samson, Quezon City, on Wednesday, April 10.

Police identified those involved in the accident as Virgilio Dela Rosa III, 32, a resident of Barangay Apolonio, Quezon City; and Hadjie Hadcan, 28, a resident of Barangay Sta. Monica, Novaliches, Quezon City.

Based on the police report, at around 10:19 p.m., both drivers were traveling along EDSA northbound and upon reaching the U-turn slot, the front right portion of the carousel bus being driven by Hadcan collided with the left front side of Dela Rosa's motorcycle.

Hadcan attempted to avoid Dela Rosa that caused the bus to swerve to the left and collided with a concrete barrier in the middle of the road.

Dela Rosa sustained minor injuries in his right arm and chest while Dela Rosa was advised to proceed to the nearest hospital for treatment.
