Tied at 24-all in the third set, the Laure sisters conspired for back-to-back kills to steer the Crossovers to their third straight victory and improve their win-loss record to 6-2.
The win forged a three-way tie for third place Petro Gazz and Creamline for third place, just behind pacesetters Choco Mucho and PLDT, which tote 7-1 cards.
Eya went on to finish with 16 points highlighted by three aces and two blocks while EJ fired 13 points. The sisters also combined for 22 of the team’s 50 kills.
Ara Galang also shone for the Crossovers with 11 points, while Alina Bicar spelled the difference by converting 12 excellent sets on top of two points.
Cignal absorbed its third loss in eight matches for solo sixth despite the efforts of Ces Molina, who scored 16 points.
Jovelyn Gonzaga and Vanie Gandler were also limited to single-digit productions with eight and six points, respectively.
