Duremdes bros bring act to UE

  • Kenji and Magdangal, sons of PBA legend and MPBL commissioner Kenneth Duremdes, are expected to serve a 1-year residency before they banner the Red Warriors in Season 88.

Kenji Duremdes and Kyle Magdangal are set to transfer from the University of Santo Tomas to the University of East in the UAAP, a source told Manila Bulletin/Tempo on Thursday, April 11.

Kenji and Magdangal, sons of PBA legend and MPBL commissioner Kenneth Duremdes, are expected to serve a 1-year residency before they banner the Red Warriors in Season 88.

The addition of the Duremdes brothers will be pivotal for UE with the departure of last year’s MVP runner-up Rey Remogat who joined the UP Fighting Maroons in January.

Last season, the duo only played limited minutes for the Growling Tigers who ended their stint with a 2-12 win-loss card at eight place.

Kenji and Kyle still have two remaining years in the UAAP.
