Mansion Sports Box Manila is now open for die-hard sports buffs. Located on the second floor of the famed Pacquiao Mansion in Makati City, MSB Manila is the newest premium sports and fitness center in the metro. It is one of a few establishments in the city that offers a state-of-the-art gym alongside a basketball court, badminton court, and other facilities. 

The opening ceremony of MSB was a star-studded affair, graced by several celebrities from the world of sports and entertainment. The ribbon cutting was a grand event, with PBA star Christian Standhardinger and WNBF bodybuilding champ Mags Villafuerte as the guests of honor. They were joined by Mr. Roy Carlos Judan, leasing manager Paolo Maravilla, and MSB gym manager Froilan Dioso.

Christian, who towers 6'8 and is a power player of Barangay Ginebra, revealed that Mansion Sports Box is his new training ground. "Yes, I come here in my free time if I need to lift some extra weights or get some shots out. I think it's very important that you stay in shape. I think just for your sake and your family's sake, you have to make sure that you're fit and as healthy as possible.And instead of doing cardio like running around circles, I think it's much easier to play basketball,to keep that cardio in the best form possible."

The ribbon cutting was followed by an all-star celebrity basketball game participated by two groups. Team Red consisted of Kapuso artist Mark Herras, actor Aleron Vicencio  and Pinoy Big Brother Teens Season 8 alumni Lance Carr.Team Black was composed of Star Magic artists Ashton Salvador and Dustine Mayores with former child actor  Bugoy Cariño.

Mark said he was glad to find a playground at MSB because "basketball is my first love." Even though he lives in Quezon City, he's willing to drive the extra distance because it "feels like home."

"This facility is very sosyal. Okay maglaro dito kasi very safe din and you're protected," he added.
