The local government of Parañaque City distributed checks to 208 women beneficiaries of “Tulong Pangkabuhayan” on Thursday, April 11, at the Parañaque City Sports Complex.
Parañaque City Mayor Eric Olivarez was joined by Congressman Edwin Olivarez's chief of staff, Atty. Ding Soriano; Barangay Chairwoman Eva Olivarez, and Bernie Amurao during the distribution of assistance to beneficiaries.
Olivarez said 208 beneficiaries of “Tulong Pangkabuhayan” received assistance after finishing their livelihood training program given by the Parañaque Livelihood Resource Management Office (PLRMO).
He said the first-time beneficiaries received P10,000 as an initial capital for the business they want to put up, which is payable within one year without interest.
The mayor added the beneficiaries can still apply for another loan of P15,000 as an additional capital for the business they have started.
