'Ang init': Baby's first words amuse netizens

A three-month-old baby went viral on social media on Sunday, April 8, after his parents shared a video of him saying his first words that completely define what everyone is experiencing in the country right now.

Baby Zac's mom, Erika Ching, shared a video of her husband and baby Zac on her social media account showing the infant uttering his first words “Ang init” (It’s too hot!), instead of the usual "Mama” or “Papa”, earning his parents' laughter and delight.

According to Erika, before that video, Baby Zac was always playing with his tongue but no words were said.

“Bago po 'yang video, madalas lang siya maglaro ng dila, pero wala pa talagang word na nasasabi. Shookt na lang po kami na 'yan ang nasabi ni baby. Kahit mama sana (Before that video, he often plays with his tongue, but he hasn't really said a word yet. We're just surprised that's what baby said. I was wishing for the word mama),” she said in an interview with Manila Bulletin.

Erika said they were happy about the netizens comments on Baby Zac’s video.

“Nakakatuwa po! Nakaka-aliw rin po ang mga comments ng netizens, tuwang tuwa kami ni daddy (It's funny! The netizens' comments are also comforting, daddy and I are very happy)," she said.

“Natuto na rin kami at dahil sa reklamo ni baby, napa-aircon na kami araw-araw kahit po masakit sa bulsa (We are at home and because of our baby's complaint, we switch on our air-conditioning unit every day even though it hurts our pockets),” she added.

The video gained 9.6 million views on social media and was shared by netizens who were entertained by baby Zac’s video.
