52-year-old tricycle driver dies in Pangasinan hit-and-run

CALASIAO, Pangasinan â€“ A 52-year-old tricycle driver was killed in a hit-and-run incident here on Wednesday, April 10.

Police said the victim, Adrian, 52, was driving a Honda Click tricycle when he was sideswiped by a Toyota Fortuner in Barangay Bued.

Victim lost control of the tricycle and rammed a single motorcycle driven by Julius, 33.

Adrian and Julius were taken to a hospital where Adrian was declared dead.

The driver of the Sports Utility Vehicle with license plates ABD-1817 who was later identified as John fled after the incident.

Police here issued a flash alarm to lawmen in Santa Barbara, Malasiqui, Urdaneta City, and Mangaldan and the suspect was cornered in Urdaneta City.

John and the vehicle are under police custody.
