2 laborers yield P700,000 worth of shabu in Binangonan, Rizal

A buy-bust operation in Binangonan, Rizal resulted in the arrest of two laborers and confiscation of more than P700,000 worth of suspected shabu on Wednesday morning, April 10.

A report obtained from Rizal Police Provincial Office (PPO) director Col. Felipe Maraggun showed that the two construction workers, both residents of Binangonan, Rizal, were collared right after they sold a sachet of suspected shabu to an undercover policeman around 2:50 a.m. in the municipality.

The police officer, upon frisking the suspects, found five sachets of the suspected shabu weighing 111.37 grams worth â‚±757,316.

The office of Col. Maraggun said the suspects were scheduled for inquest for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 (Republic Act 9165).
