The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) on Wednesday, April 10 said a lucky player has purchased the P24.2 million winning 6/42 ticket at a lotto outlet in Brgy. Fairview, Quezon City.
The winning ticket matched all six numbers 28-37-06-05-12-18, in the Lotto 6/42 draw on Tuesday, April 9.
A jackpot prize of more than P10,000 is subject to a 20 percent tax deduction under the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion or TRAIN Law.
If the jackpot prize goes unclaimed one year after the drawing date, it will be forfeited and transferred to the PCSO Charity Fund, as mandated by Republic Act 1169 or the PCSO Charter.
The 6/42 draw is held every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
