Chery Tiggo and Cignal square off on Thursday, April 11, in a crucial match that would boost their respective semifinal campaigns in the Premier Volleyball League All-Filipino Conference at the Philsports Arena in Pasig City.

Match is at 6 p.m. with the Crossovers and the HD Spikers, who tote identical 5-2 win-loss records at fifth place, gun for a share of third with the Creamline Cool Smashers and the Petro Gazz Angels heading into the final stretch of the preliminaries.
After stunning Creamline with a straight-set victory last March 16, Chery Tiggo remained unstoppable with back-to-back triumphs over Petro Gazz and Nxled to put themselves in semis contention.
The Crossovers aim to keep that momentum going by keeping their attacks more explosive behind the efforts of Mylene Paat, Ces Robles and Eya Laure, who combined for 38 points in their four-set triumph over the Chameleons before the Holy Week break.
Chery Tiggo coach Kungfu Reyes is also banking on their defense, as Cignal is expected to parade its hard-hitting spikers in Jovelyn Gonzaga, Ces Molina and Vanie Gandler.
Though coming off a straight-set win over Farm Fresh last Thursday, the HD Spikers are still finding their footing following previous losses on Choco Mucho and Creamline.
Meanwhile, Capital1 and Akari clash at 4 p.m.
The Solar Spikers eye their second win against seven defeats while the Chargers aim to improve their 3-5 card.
