SAN VICENTE, Ilocos Sur – A man’s body was discovered on a rice field in Barangay Pudoc here on Tuesday, April 9.

THE body of a septuagenarian was found on a rice field in Barangay Pudoc, San Vicente, Ilocos Sur on April 9.
Police identified the victim as Guillermo Rebula, 75.
Three residents – Eduardo Rualizo, Jayrold Rebula, and Rodel Rebula – who were on their way home noticed a parked bicycle and spotted the victim’s body.
Another body was also discovered in Barangay Curtin, Sinait, Ilocos Sur, on Tuesday.
A concerned citizen found the body wearing white short pants and already in a state of decomposition and reported it to the police.
Police asked the help of barangay officials in identifying the victim.
The body of a newborn baby boy was found in a public cemetery in Binmaley, Pangasinan on Tuesday.
The caretaker of the public cemetery, Alberto Aquino dela Cruz, 53, discovered a box left inside the Binmaley Public Cemetery.
He opened the box and found the body. Dela Cruz reported his discovery to the Binmaley Police Station.
Police have coordinated with Dr. Gladiola Manaois, Municipal Health Officer, Rural Health Unit 1, for post-mortem examination.
