Senior Fire Officer 4 Norvic Mangubat, acting municipal fire marshal, said they received a call for assistance around 12:50 a.m.
Initial investigation of the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP)-Pontevedra said the blaze originated from the kitchen of Eleven Cafe and Beach Resort.
Arson investigators have yet to establish the cause of fire but are exploring all possible angles.
Damage to property was estimated at P330,000.
Mangubat said that the fire was put out 20 minutes later. No neighboring structures and houses were affected.
The establishment, in a Facebook post, vowed to come back stronger following the fire and bring more joy to events and festive feelings even in ordinary days.
They also announced that they are accepting cash and in-kind donations as some of their crew lost all their belongings in the fire.
Management said that any amount is highly appreciated as it will help them to rebuild faster and provide temporary assistance to all staff and volunteers.
