Car overturns after being hit by speeding Caloocan police vehicle; driver hurt

A car overturned after it was hit by a speeding Caloocan police vehicle which was transporting a child to a hospital in Sta. Cruz, Manila on Monday, April 1.
Authorities have not yet disclosed the names of the drivers involved.
According to the initial police report, a blue Ford Fiesta was traveling along the northbound lane of Alfonso Mendoza Street when a police cab coming from Laong Laan Street suddenly appeared and hit the car.
Due to the strong impact, the car flipped and overturned, while the bumper of the police cab fell off.
The driver of the blue car sustained minor injuries on his arms.
Witnesses said the police cab was speeding because of the child on board who had to be taken to Ospital ng Maynila.
They said the child was immediately brought to the hospital after the collision.
Authorities said an in-depth investigation will be conducted on the incident.
