3 die from pertussis in Pampanga, says provincial board member
Pampanga Provincial Board Member Mylyn Pineda Cayabyab has confirmed three pertussis fatalities in her province.
Cayabyab said there are 48 cases in Central Luzon and 12 have been confirmed in Pampanga.
(We should avoid bringing children to gatherings. Their immune system is not well-developed. Avoid bringing babies near people with cough)
Parents and netizens have called on the provincial government to order the conduct of online classes to avoid children being exposed to pertussis, also known as whooping cough.
