A 64-year-old tricycle driver was stabbed to death by another driver in Sampaloc, Manila on Monday, April 1.
The Manila Police District (MPD) identified the suspect as Alejandro Queqquegan and the victim as Cansino Carlito, both residents of Sampaloc, Manila.
According to the police report, the incident occurred at Cayco Street corner Alley 1 Street, Sampaloc, Manila around 5:15 a.m.
Investigation disclosed that the two had multiple arguments in the past about boarding of passengers in the terminal.
Police said the two enaged in another argument on Monday morning that led to the stabbing of the victim.
The victim was immediately brought to the Hospital ng Sampaloc at 6:41 a.m. but was declared dead on arrival.
Meanwhile, the suspect was arrested and remained in detention at the Sampaloc Police Station for homicide charges.
