Woman, taxi driver nabbed in shabu sting in Muntinlupa

Police operatives arrested a woman and a taxi driver in buy-bust operation that led to the confiscation of more than P350,000 worth of shabu in Muntinlupa on March 9.

The Muntinlupa Police’s Drug Enforcement Unit conducted the operation at about 7:15 a.m. on Biazon Road in Barangay Poblacion that resulted in the arrest of alias Jeanyrose, 37, and alias Jenard, 37, a taxi driver.

The police seized 52 grams of suspected shabu with a value of P353,600, a P1,000 bill on top of P9,000 boodle money, and a motorcycle.

Both suspects will be charged for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) while the drug evidence will be turned over to Southern Police District Forensic Unit for chemical analysis.
