ILAGAN CITY, Isabela – Police served a warrant of arrest for murder on a New People’s Army rebel detained in this city on Friday, March 8.
Police Lt. Col. Lord Wilson J. Adorio, chief of police here, identified the suspect as Rey Villadores.
Villadores was the No. 2 wanted NPA personality in Region 2 (Cagayan Valley).
He was a former vice commanding officer of Regional Operation Command (ROC), Komiteng Rehiyon-Hilagang Silangang Luzon (KR-HSL), and former commanding officer of Rehiyonal Sentro de Grabidad (RSDG) operating in Cagayan Valley.
Police served Villadores, detained at the Isabela Provincial Jail here, a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Isaac R. de Alban of the Regional Trial Court (RTC), 2nd Judicial Region, Branch 16, here for murder.
He was listed in the Department of Interior and Local Government-Department of National Defense joint orders as a national top most wanted person CTG personalities in Region 2 with reward of P2.8 million for his capture.
Meanwhile, a most wanted person in Region 4-A (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, and Quezon area) for two counts of rape by sexual assault was arrested in Quezon, Isabela on Friday.
The suspect was apprehended on a warrant issued by Presiding Judge Raquel Aspiras Sanchez of the
RTC, 4th Judicial Region, Family Court Branch 3, Tagaytay City, Cavite.
No bail was recommended for the suspect who is temporarily detained at the Quezon police station for documentation before turnover to lawmen in Region 4-A.
